connecting with other Transgender teens!

What is

T.Y.M.E?

It ‘s about T.Y.M.E. that trans youth in Nashville have a liberating space just for them! T.Y.M.E. stands for Trans Youth Meet to Empower. Every month, trans youth are invited to come together to develop new friendships, engage in facilitated conversations, and explore the complexity of gender identity and gender expression in our current society. Each month our trans young people generate new themes and topics for discussion, which ensures that our sessions are always relevant and informative.

Do I

need to sign up?

You don’t need to “sign up” to attend one of the monthly meetings. Just show up! Everyone is free to attend whenever their schedule permits – so don’t hesitate to drop in and see if T.Y.M.E. is the right fit for you. Be sure to check out our Calendar of Events so you know what’s happening next!

Can my parents hang

out while I’m in the meeting?

Absolutely! But we have something better for them to do while you are in your meeting than to just hang out in the lobby. They can attend the Parents & Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) meeting. The PFLAG meeting is at the same time as T.Y.M.E in another meeting space at Oasis Center. So, it’s a perfect evening for the whole family!
