Second Annual LGBTQ+ Youth Summit

Proudly presented by Oasis Center’s Students of Stonewall and GLSEN Tennessee

At the summit, folks are invited to connect with other LGBTQ young people and allies, parents, and educators in order to learn about important resources, feel validated in their authenticity, and engage in learning about gender and sexuality in the South.

We hope you will leave empowered and ready to enact change in your life, your school, and your communities.

Workshops will focus on:

Self-care
Peer Education
Power and Privilege
Queer Sexuality Education
Legislative Action and Advocacy
Poetry and Creative Expression

Family Resources and Support
LGBTQ+ and transgender-based Healthcare

About The Summit

This year’s summit theme Get Connected embodies the essential need for students to have access to communities of friends, allies, and advocates who are affirming and inclusive of their diverse identities and experiences. Conversely, GET CONNECTED is also a call to action for community leaders to share their skills and resources with the younger generation! Use the link below to submit a workshop proposal for consideration today. Whether you’re a student, parent, or a community member we welcome you to this year’s summit and hope you feel free to be authentically you, find support to meet your needs, and Get Connected.
